The fixture table clamp mount is a popular option for people who like to fabricate smaller components on their workbench.

It features 12 16mm holes spaced at 50mm centres for accepting a huge range of clamps made for fixture tables.

Having more than 1 of these means you can place them around the table enabling you to clamp larger workpieces.

If you want it out the way, simply flip the mount up-side-down and store underneath.
