From Scotland to Billing – Torland Hits the Road

A few weekends ago we made the journey down from Scotland to the Billing Off-Road Show – and it was absolutely worth it.

Billing is a fantastic show, full of car enthusiasts, off-road lovers, and people who genuinely care about well-built kit. As a brand focused on building tough, functional workbenches for real workshops, it felt like exactly the kind of place Torland should be.

We’re not a massive team. Just a few of us passionate about building proper, no-nonsense gear that’s made to last. So getting to meet people face to face, talk, shop, and hear what you’re working on was a brilliant experience.

One thing that grabbed a lot of attention was our Di-Lock system – a feature we’ve developed to let you quickly install or remove accessories like vices, mounts, jigs and more. It’s all about flexibility on the bench, without compromising on strength or stability. Whether you’re switching setups or need a clear surface fast, the Di-Lock gives you that freedom. Loads of people told us it was exactly the sort of practical solution they’ve been looking for.

We brought  a couple of our heavy-duty workbenches down with us, and the feedback was brilliant – people loved how solid it felt, how clean and functional the layout was, and that everything about it was designed with real world use in mind. These aren’t benches for showrooms – they’re built for the garage, the unit, the job.
